Re: 2022 Scholarship Opportunities ($1,500.00 each).
The Sigma Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. offers financial support to targeted African-American high school seniors who plan to continue their education at a four-year university or college. Since the inception of our organization, Omega men have epitomized the meaning behind the phrase “academic excellence”. Multiple awards of $1,500.00 from the Sigma Iota Scholarship Fund will be available. Last year a total of $25,000.00 was awarded to qualifying students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- African-American graduating high school students (Class of 2022) who are enrolled in a four-year program at a university or college for the Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 semesters.
- Alameda or Contra Costa County Resident.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 Scale.
- Active in Community Service Initiatives.
