Greetings Brothers of Omega Psi Phi,

I pray that you and your respective families are well and thriving in the Lord.  Let’s start this week off with a word from the “Study of the Chaplain”. Each week I will send you all a video, text, or audio message from my weekly study of the Holy Scriptures. Our text this week comes from the book of Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11, which says,

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Yes, brothers, God is thinking about you and I. And His thoughts are that you and I have peace in our homes, on the job, and in our respective communities. It does not stop there. God has a future and hope for us. The word future in Hebrew means ready for or destined. The word hope in Hebrew means to bind together. God is binding together and making us ready for a destiny of purpose and greatness in this life.

Stay encouraged and share this message with other brothers. I leave you with these words from Bishop Edgar Amos Love,

“There is a place for mediocrity in our society, but not in Omega.”

Make this week the best week of your life…in Jesus name I pray…take care brothers and stay safe.

In Friendship,
Bro. Devin
